The National Art Gallery of Malaysia has been organising "Laman Seni Kuala Lumpur" for quite some time, it's like a art bazaar held on the first saturday of every month, at the Jalan Tun Razak's National Art Gallery. I've been there twice, February of 2005 and 2006.
LSKL is a arts & crafts market where artists sell their works. You'll find paintings, photographs, handmade jewellery, sculptures, batik, creative postcards and lots more surprises there. From 8am to 5pm, Laman Seni has a long list of programmes for kids and also for adults. DIY workshops and cartoon clinic for children was on the list when i visited LSKL this Feb.
Because the February's LSKL is held within Chinese New Year, they have ang pow lucky draws at the main entrance. i've got two oranges from the lucky draw!

2/26/2006 还是纪念大姑姑去了大姑姑的百日纪念拜祭祀。
我们一大早刚到的时候还有早晨的雾气，整个墓园宁静安详。
简单的仪式就在安奉大姑姑和大姑丈骨灰的骨灰屋前面举行。
感谢现代墓园的精心设计，这个地方舒服又优雅。我们小辈还能够在里面吹着冷气聊天。
我和我妹都被这三个小瓜叫做表姑。这个辈分听起来虽然比较大，不过叫起来还真老。

 金碧辉煌
 我妈有时候很糊涂，糊涂到我们无可奈何地说她比乌龙还“鸟龙”。
可是，在一些关键时刻她还是做了一些重要的事情。
那个时候，没有人记得应该做这么一件事，即使想起了，也不会觉得自己应该去做这件事。 在大姑姑临走前，她作为舅母，要三个表哥和两个表嫂来到大姑姑面前，慎重地要他们答应大姑姑，以后一定要好好在一起，互相帮忙、互相照顾。然后告诉大姑姑请她放心，一切都会很好。
我想这不仅对大姑姑来说是重要的，对表哥和表嫂们来说也有深重的意义。所以我妈还是很可敬的。
 就是这样住在这里了
 大姑姑虽然不在了。但是我的记忆力里还是有很多关于大姑姑的事情。可能时间越长会越清晰。像现在我能回忆起很多以前看过的画面，突然记起一些人说过的话。
我还应该这样来记得大姑姑，她一辈子的辛劳都是为家人、为子孙。一个女人一辈子的付出真的是无声无息的，却又那么实在地创造了一个家。她的一双手喂饱了孩子、养大了他们，然后再帮他们照顾他们的孩子。屋里的欢声笑语，是她料理好家事营造的和乐气氛。屋外每一棵生气盎然的花树，是她细心栽种培育的。
所以今后，大家过上了安逸的日子，都不应该忘了这其中也有大姑姑的功劳。我们都必须时刻心存感激，记得她曾经付出辛苦。
p.s. 涂涂写写三天了。本来想好好地写一篇像故事一样的东西。但是写不出来。结果被我写成这样子。
2/21/2006 McDonald's Happy Meal goodies: Bendable Zoo Buddies!McDonald's Happy Meal is my all time favourite. Not only because of it's kid's portion of food, also because of it's free toy! This time i discover this bendable zoo buddies that come along with every purchase of happy meal in McD around Malaysia. There are 8 animals stuffed toys in a set, including a Giraffe, Bat, Zebra, Moose, Flamingo, Kangaroo, Lion, and Octopus.
I acquired my first item of this collection in the drive thru McD at Jalan Pahang, KL. I got a bat!
 Then comes the second one, a Kangaroo. Then the third one, a Giraffe.
Will have to get 5 more to complete the set. Those of you who are still in M'sia, if you're kind enough to do me a favour, pluuuuleeease help me to get the remaining Zebra, Moose, and Flamingo. Lion and Octopus stay last on my list.
once in a while, i'm fancy of little stuffed toy. guess i inherited the "娃娃 craze" from mrs. cheng!
